WANT MORE?: Did you love this day? I hope you did! If your Easter was anything like the weather then consider yourself very lucky. Blue skies and warm sunshine will continue into the days ahead. It looks as if we may keep the sun each and every day with 70s in the forecast for the next week, with only a small exception.
EVENING PLANS: Get out and enjoy the rest of this day. Temps will fall into the 60s after sunset, bottoming out in the low 50s overnight. We’re dry and comfy all evening long.
HARD PRESSED FOR RAIN: A slow moving cold front moves like a sloth through Alabama from this evening into Monday. Since we’re so dry and the front is so slow, we’ll only get to experience some added clouds overnight and Monday. Some to the west may see an isolated shower, but rain chances are well below 10%. Once this front moves through late Monday, we’re in for a high pressure treat. Dry weather through next weekend!
DIP AND RISE: We’ll top out in the temperature department Monday just above the 80° mark. Then the cooler air behind the front finally trickles in. This means the night will be chilly and the days remain mild. Expect lows dipping into the mid 40s this week and the highs to dip to the mid 70s by Wednesday. We’ll begin our slow raise, making it back to the low 50s and low 80s for lows and highs by next weekend.
I hope you and your family continue to enjoy a very safe and Happy Easter today.
